CERVICAL CANCER.....SAVE LIFE.....SPREAD THE WORDS

Symptoms of Having Cervical Cancer
. Abnormal vaginal bleeding. It can be light or heavy bleeding during the month.
. Unusual heavy vaginal discharge. It may be foul smelling, watery, thick or contain mucus. It is important to report any unusual vaginal discharge.
. Pain during urination. Bladder pain or pain during urination can be a symptom of advanced cervical cancer.
. Bleeding between regular menstrual period, after sexual intercourse, douching, or pelvic exam.
A regular Pap smear test should be done in women over 30. HPV Vaccine - Gardasil or Cervarix - should be injected to prevent HPV Virus in hopes of eliminating cervical cancer.
Risk Factors
. Having many sexual partners
. Having first sexual intercourse at a young age
. Oral contraceptive use - birth control pills
. Smoking cigarettes
. Weakened immuse system
. Giving birth to many children
